Welcome Riley!

Sundanz would like to welcome a new smiling face to our barn! Riley has a love for horses and would spend all day at the barn if she could! She had her first lesson with Heidi and had a blast!

Heidi and Riley, all smiles after a great first lesson!

Susan and Mr. Chance

Sundanz would like to welcome 2 new smiling faces to the family!

Susan and Mr. Chance a.k.a Master Dan.
Mr. Chance was a retired race horse when Susan rescued him and now they both enjoy trail riding. They are a perfect fit for our family and we look forward to many trail rides with them! Welcome to the barn =)

Welcome Hazel

We would like to welcome Hazel to the Sundanz Family! She is not only a new student, she is also our youngest to join the group. Hazel is 4 years old and this was her very 1st lesson!

Hazel lives close by and she and her parents drive by every day. She has been admiring from afar - all the other students in the arena as her parents drive by. She has been asking her mom and dad for riding lessons and her dream came true! After her first lesson on Boomer, she announced that she had to go out and buy her own helmet! She is a true horse crazy girl!

Fun at the Farm

Sarah has been taking lessons with us for quite some time now. She used to ride Boomer and now she is riding one of our new lesson horses at the barn, Dora! Dora belongs to Heidi, our instructor and is she is such a sweet little girl.
We would like to welcome a new student to the barn! We are thrilled to have Kayla, who has shown her own horse in the past. She is working really hard to get back into the show ring and we are excited to help her do it! Welcome to the Sundanz Family Kayla!
Princessa (our new lesson horse) and Kayla
Cydney started taking lessons with us after she got a package for her birthday. She was lucky enough to get another package for Christmas, so we are thrilled to have her continue. We love to see her smiling face at the barn. Here she is with her lesson buddy, Infinity!

Kathleen is one of our wonderful boarders and her horse Spot is such a sweetheart!

Heidi gave Kathleen, Sarah and Kayla a group lesson the other day!

Welcome Heidi and Haley

Haley and Heidi join the Sundanz Family!

Heidi Grigaitis is a local area riding instructor and trainer with over 40 years of riding, showing, teaching and training experience. Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and raised in El Paso, Texas, Heidi began riding at the early age of 4 on her family's Quarter Horses. As a youth competitor Heidi rode Saddlebreds, Arabians and Half Arabians on local and national level. She is a graduate of Stephens College in Columbia, MO achieving her B.A. degrees in Equine Science and Fashion Merchandising while achieving top honors as a National Dean's List College Graduate. After graduation Heidi accepted a position training horses for Tom Chauncey Arabians and made a permanent move to Scottsdale. Over the years her career choices have always included working with horses, children and fashion including Show Season, Inc., Bisch Training @ Los Cedros, USA, as well as freelance training and teaching at local area horse farms. Her lifelong experience and knowledge combined with an enthusiastic, positive and competitive teaching style allow her to pass on her passion and love for horses from the beginning rider to the most advanced competitors. She has coached many competitors at local, Regional, Youth National and National levels. Heidi has been a Cave Creek resident for over 15 years and lives with her husband Rick, their 3 children, 3 Jack Russell Terriers and is the proud owner, along with her daughter Haley, of 2 beautiful Purebred Arabians. We are very happy to add them to our family!
